Cunard Line has today announced that the Steakhouse at The Verandah has become a permanent feature at the specialty dining restaurant on all three of the Queen’s.
Cunard’s team of chefs have curated a menu which showcases prime USDA New York strip steak, Maine Lobster and Alaskan king crab, alongside British favorites such as Scotch grass fed aged beef and Salt Marsh lamb rack. There are also offerings from further afield such as Waygu beef from Australia which is featured on the menu.
“After the success of the new Steakhouse menu onboard Queen Mary 2 last summer, our team has decided to take the concept across the fleet,” said Josh Leibowitz, Senior Vice President for Cunard in North America. “We welcome guests to join us at the new Steakhouse at The Verandah to experience the very best steakhouse at sea.”
In addition to the enhanced food menu is a new selection of craft cocktails which will be served at The Veranda bar, the new cocktails will reflect the contemporary mixology trends from some of the world’s biggest cities. The wine has also been carefully selected to focus on ‘steak heroes’ and features classic peppery Syrahs alongside more contemporary juicy Malbecs and rich Chardonnays.
Steakhouse at The Verandah will be open for lunch and dinner with supplements of $25 per person for lunch & $39 per person for dinner, with some premium additions to the menu being at an extra charge.
